As reported by the Midtown Raleigh News, a survey by city planner Travis Crane revealed that around 24.1 percent of businesses in the city would be in violation of the new rules. First discussed in a March 18, 2014, Raleigh Planning Commission meeting, the proposed amendments recommend that, except for fleet and rental vehicles, all vehicular signage will be prohibited, regardless of intent.
